Rouyn-Noranda, March 20, 2020 – In light of the many concerns raised by the current situation and the recommendations issued by all levels of government, MBI Global wishes to emphasize that it is continuing to operate. The alliance is taking steps to maintain service for its customers while helping prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

As a good corporate citizen, MBI Global is also doing the following:

• An internal memo has been sent to all employees to educate them about ways to prevent the spread of the virus.
• All employees who travelled abroad and returned after March 12, 2020, must self-isolate for 14 days, as requested by the government.
• All non-essential visits to MBI Global’s offices are prohibited. For that reason, we ask that all potential visitors contact us before coming.
• The administrative team is able to work from home.
• Our customer service department is continuing to operate as usual. Customer service representatives can answer all questions by telephone, chat or videoconference. If a physical visit is required, we will assess the requests on a case-by-case basis*

International situation

We are assessing and adjusting to the measures taken by government authorities in countries such as Peru, Mexico and Chile. Unfortunately, some of our business activities abroad have slowed or stopped entirely. We are currently assessing each situation on a case-by-case basis. We will contact affected international customers and suppliers individually.

Operations in Canada remain stable

All regular business activities—as well as the outstanding products and services for which MBI Global is known—remain our top priority and will continue as usual.
