With more than 39 years of experience in drilling and management, Mario has developed solid expertise in mineral exploration. In fact, he has a portfolio of businesses in the industry, adding further value to the company.

Daniel Misiano

President

Daniel has 30 years of experience in business development and management in areas such as mineral exploration, strategic planning, and sales, as well as extensive international experience.

Pietro De Ciccio, P. Eng.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Pietro has over 35 years of experience in the industrial field, including international manufacturing management. We are lucky to benefit from his extensive knowledge of mining exploration every day.

Our history…

Over the years

MBI is founded

Marcel Bélanger founds MBI Drilling. Its mission: to distribute coring products, including diamond products and measuring instruments.

New ownership

The company is handed over to Dany Laliberté, who maintains the focus on distributing coring products.

Product manufacturing

This year marks our debut as a manufacturer as we start producing casings.

New shareholder and new plant

The FTQ becomes a majority shareholder thanks to a major investment in the construction of a manufacturing plant for coring parts.

First international office in Chile

The company opens an office on another continent, in Santiago, Chile!

The expansion continues

MBI’s deployment and distribution strategy leads it to open a new office, this time in Lima, Peru, and bring on new distributors in South Africa and Russia.

A new global vision!

MBI Drilling Products becomes MBI Global and now exports its products to more than 30 countries through 15 distributors and 4 offices (in Val-d’Or and Saskatoon, Canada, as well as in Chile and Peru).

Merger with VersaDrill Canada

MBI Global merges with VersaDrill Canada and joins the Rouillier Group family, allowing it to provide stronger & stronger drilling solutions.
