Technical Sales Representative – CPT Equipment

About the Role:

MBI Global is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to support and grow its CPT (Cone Penetration Testing) product line. This position combines sales developmenttechnical supportclient training, and collaboration with a technology partner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Market Development
  • Work with the Geotechnical Sales Director to grow sales (focus on U.S. market).
  • Identify new clients and business opportunities.
Customer & Sales Support
  • Provide technical support before and after sales.
  • Follow up with clients and ensure satisfaction.
Quotations & Product Info
  • Prepare custom quotes and technical proposals.
  • Keep product data updated in SAP.
Field Support & Training
  • Support CPT systems in the field.
  • Deliver product demos and customer training.
Trade Shows & Internal Training
  • Attend up to 4 trade shows per year.
  • Create and lead CPT training for staff and clients.
Product & Documentation Development
  • Work with engineering on product improvements.
  • Help write manuals, guides, and safety documents.
Work with Technology Partner
  • Support system integration and innovation.
  • Join R&D projects (some time may be billable).


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in CPT systems or geotechnical engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of drilling/CPT equipment (asset).
  • Strong communication and sales skills.
  • Bilingual (French & English) – Dutch is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel (~20–25%).
  • SAP/ERP experience (asset).
