Global Sales Director

Reporting to the President, the Director of International Sales is responsible for the international sales strategy, the performance of MBI Global’s sales team and the development of its distributor network. This leader sets commercial priorities, supports partners in targeted markets and represents the company with strategic customers around the world.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT  Professional proficiency in French, English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Management

  • Lead, engage, coach and develop MBI Global’s sales team.
  • Establish sales objectives, priorities and action plans, and monitor results.
  • Implement performance indicators and report results to senior management.
  • Support the team on major opportunities, negotiations and strategic account development.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and the development of sales budgets.

International Business Development

  • Grow sales and open new markets internationally.
  • Identify the regions, segments and customers with the strongest growth potential.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, partners and key decision-makers.
  • Negotiate major commercial agreements while supporting profitability objectives.
  • Represent MBI Global during customer visits, trade shows, conferences and industry events.

Distributor Network Management

  • Lead, support and expand the global distributor network.
  • Evaluate partner performance and establish market-specific action plans.
  • Train and support distributors on the product offering, positioning and sales practices.
  • Recruit new partners in high-potential territories.
  • Maintain consistent communication and an experience aligned with MBI Global standards.

Collaboration and Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with operations, engineering, customer service and marketing teams.
  • Share market intelligence to support product improvement and development.
  • Prepare reliable sales forecasts and support management decision-making.

 

Qualifications

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, international business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Significant experience in sales, business development and commercial team management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing distributors or international partners.
  • Experience in manufacturing, mining, industrial, drilling, heavy equipment or a related sector is considered a strong asset.
  • Strong ability to negotiate, close agreements and build lasting business relationships.
  • Valid passport and availability for frequent international travel.
